Takto support

Let’s get you
back on track.

Need help with your journal? Email info@genhtis.com. Include your app version, iOS version and a short description of what happened.

Remove booking references, ticket barcodes and other personal details from screenshots. Never send a password.

Import a journey from DB Navigator

Use the journey’s Share option in DB Navigator and choose Takto. Sharing the full journey text gives Takto departure and arrival times, train numbers and platforms even when DB’s link service is unavailable. If Takto is missing, look in the share sheet’s “More” list.

Some stops or live details are missing

Shared links do not always contain a complete stop list. Takto can only display details available in the imported text or returned by the train-data service. Share the full journey text if possible. Check DB Navigator for the latest operating information.

The Live Activity looks out of date

Open Takto and refresh your journey. Background updates are still being prepared for release; current test builds may refresh only while the app is open. iOS also controls how long activities remain visible.

Back up or move your journal

Open Settings in Takto and export your journal. Keep the exported file somewhere private. Cloud sync is optional; sign in and use Sync to copy your journal to your account.

Delete your account or cloud data

In Takto, open Settings, choose Delete account and confirm your password. You can choose whether to keep the journal on that device. Copies exported or kept on other devices are not removed. If you cannot access your account, contact support from your account’s email address; we will verify ownership before deleting data.

Is Takto part of Deutsche Bahn?

No. Takto is an independent rail-journal app. It does not sell tickets or replace your transport operator’s travel information.
